Detroit – September 13, 2017 – On Tuesday evening about 500 Detroiters answered the National Action Network’s Detroit Chapters call to protest the public funded Little Caesar’s Arena and Kid Rock. Detroit People’s Platform asked members and supporters of Racial and Economic Justice to demand Olympia Entertainment and The Detroit Pistons voluntarily enter into a REAL Community Benefits Agreement. Detroit People’s Platform had a great presence at the protest and we know that many made calls into Olympia and the Pistons, Thank you! Here is the local TV media coverage of the protest. Please continue to make calls throughout the week and stay in touch with us for more information and further actions around racial and economic justice in Detroit.
